9 January 2023Baking trays: types available at Magorex

Although our baking and confectionery trays have a long history, we do not stop working on them. They always match the realities of the industry and customer requirements. Find out what types of baking trays are available at Magorex today. Choose products that are perfect for your plant.

How to choose the best baking sheets?

Each bakery specializes in different pastries. Safety in the production process, the highest quality and comfort of use are guaranteed only by individually selected equipment. What is worth getting to work effectively? Although they are among our oldest products, baking trays are not losing popularity. Over the years, we have introduced various shapes, widths, and heights of our products to our catalogue.

The height of the edges (10, 20 or 23 mm), the kind of edge (rolled or straight) and the degree of bending (45o or 90o) are important. What else to pay attention to? For the raw materials used in production. Standard solutions are usually made of aluminium or AluSteel. However, other options such as stainless steel or BlueSteel are also available on request. Customers can also independently decide on the size of perforations, corners of each sheet (open, welded or rounded) and the presence of non-stick coatings.

Baking sheets on request

We can produce the baking trays you need to work efficiently and bring excellent results. However, our possibilities do not end with the individual adjustment of various project details, such as dimensions, edges or shape of corners. We also offer solutions that bring real savings and shorten the baking time by several per cent. One of them is perforation. Small openings facilitate air circulation in this case. Since the heat reaches the centre of the tray much faster, all products are evenly baked.

Are you looking for a way to easily remove the bread, which at the same time will not contribute to the formation of carbon deposits? No problem! At Magorex, we professionally cover metal sheets and moulds with non-stick coatings and regenerate them. On request, we offer both silicone and fluoropolymer coatings, such as Teflon.

We present the different types of baking trays that can be found in the Magorex catalog today

Perforated aluminium baking sheets

Aluminium is resistant to strong chemicals that are usually used to clean moulds and sheets. Another great advantage of this material is flexibility. In production, we use only carefully selected, high-quality materials that are light and susceptible to processing. This allows us to give our equipment various shapes, including non-standard ones.

Aluminium baking sheets with various perforation options: 2, 3 or 5 mm take a special place in our offer. The materials and advanced technologies used during production have allowed us to create a wide range of solutions that can have 2, 3 or 4 edges with different heights (1, 2 or 2.3 cm), edges and degrees of bending (45° or 90°). When placing an order, pay attention to the suggested thickness of the sheet (1.5 mm or 2 mm) and its surface (only aluminium or with a silicone coating).

Solid aluminium baking sheets

Aluminium baking sheets can also be without holes. As in the previous case, there are options with two 45° edges, three 90° edges or four edges with any degree of bending. We can make them in non-standard dimensions or with special non-stick coatings at the customer’s request.

Stamped aluminium baking sheets

Extremely difficult to remove production residues and dirt collecting on the sharp edges of the sheet metal is the bane of all plants that put hygiene first. How to prevent it? A modern solution for small and large bakeries is an aluminium baking sheet produced by pressing. A characteristic feature of these products is closed, rounded corners that do not cause typical problems when washing and guarantee cleanliness. They are made of a piece of sheet metal with a thickness of 1.35 mm.

The Magorex assortment includes two basic types of embossed baking trays: solid and perforated. Typically, the holes then have a diameter of 3 or 5 mm. Of course, this is not the only aspect to consider when ordering. All models are available in different sizes (60 x 40 cm or 53 x 32.5 cm) and have four 1.5 cm high edges that can be bent at an angle of 45 degrees.

AluSteel baking sheets perforated

AluSteel, i.e. steel covered with a thin layer of aluminium on both sides, guarantees a longer life for each product and resistance to high temperatures. Because they require a much shorter furnace heating time, we can reduce production costs. AluSteel baking sheets do not deform because of continuous heating and cooling. The aluminium layer also protects them from rusting. Which of them is worth choosing?

Both solid and perforated models are popular. The holes are usually 3 mm in diameter. All products are made of 0.75 mm thick sheet metal. Customers can select two options: with three or four edges with different degrees of bending (90° or 40°).

Solid AluSteel Baking Sheets

As in the other case, they are divided into two basic categories. The first includes models with four 45° edges. Baking trays of this type are bent on all sides and have the following dimensions: 53×32.5 cm, 60×40 or 65×53 cm.

We also offer products in which the short side is made unchanged, while the other three are bent at an angle of 90 degrees. They are available in various sizes: 60×40 cm, 78×58 cm, and 98×58 cm.

Baking trays reinforced with a stainless steel rod

Baking trays must be adapted to the realities of the plant and production processes. For your convenience, we offer several different designs and manufacturing options. We are happy to use modern solutions that guarantee strength and resistance to deformation. That is why we have introduced various types of baking trays reinforced with a stainless steel rod to our assortment. On request, we can prepare products that will keep their shape longer and will not be susceptible to warping.

Baguette baking sheets

How to choose the perfect baguette baking sheets? Their moulds deserve special attention. In the most popular version, they are pressed to a width of 60 mm and a depth of 25 mm. They also have the shape of an ellipse and an open end. It is also possible to order moguls in individually selected sizes and special versions for casseroles or with closed ends.

Baguette sheets are available in several different sizes: 60×40, 65×53, 78×58, 80×60 and 98×58 cm. Both their interior and the frames in which the inserts are embedded can be made of aluminium or stainless steel. Customers can choose two basic types of the product: S (the troughs are arranged parallel to the short side of the sheet) or L (the troughs are arranged parallel to the long side of the sheet). All models are perforated as standard. The diameter of the holes can be 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm. We also offer products without perforations or with 3 and 5-mm holes.

Baking trays for hamburger buns

Hamburger buns should not only taste good but also look perfect. An even level of baking is guaranteed by professional baking trays from Magorex. We create them both from aluminium and AluSteel. In some cases, we can also equip them with special silicone coatings. The most important element of their construction remains sockets (perforated 2 mm or solid) with individually matched diameters. Their number in each piece varies from 6 to even 28.

We have divided all our products into three basic categories: standard, maxi or maxi plus. Trays for hamburger buns can also vary in size: 60×40, 78×58, 80×60 or 98×58 cm.
